Responsible for meeting daily service and repair needs and driving customer satisfaction.
Installs, repairs and maintains equipment in the field; provides customer training as required.
Documents all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submits paperwork in a timely basis.
Participates in Service sales opportunities and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs.
Ensures that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Assesses product/equipment performance based on field support data; recommends modifications or improvements.
Performs problem diagnosis, service, and preventative maintenance on instruments for lab automation.
Handles essential tasks as assigned, and responds to change productively
Requirements
Must be an Engineering degree holder in one of the following disciplines – Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical & Biomedical, or related disciplines.
Candidate must be diligent and possess good communication skills - oral and written - to be able to interact with customers and suppliers effectively.
Able to be a team player.
Have strong organizational skills and strong follow-up skills
Able to complete all tasks assigned in a timely fashion
Possess a high level of commitment and initiative.
Proficiency in basic programing languages like VB, C++ will be a plus.
Experience/knowledge in Lab/Robotic Automation will be a plus.
Able to perform lifting of heavy equipment.
Knowledge about imaging, optical sensors technology will also be a plus.
