Those are designed and implemented by passionate people who continually strive for new best ways.The Service Operation is looking for a Field Service Technician/ Engineer specializing in power equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our power systems.You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of power equipment, working directly with customers to provide top-notch technical support.The individual will be reporting to Service Operation Manager - Power Business line due to limitation of quota this position will be open to Singaporean/ SPR only.MissionYour mission as Field Service Engineers in power equipment is to ensure You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of power equipment, working directly with customers to provide top-notch technical support.

What we expect from youThe main responsibilities will include as follows:
  • Ability to lead & supervise the project team at site set up & demob.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of operation of generators & their components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics in electrical wiring, control systems, and power distribution.
  • Skills in mechanical repairs, including engines, alternators, and cooling systems.
  • Installation and commissioning of generator system, preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls of equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on power equipment to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues of equipment swiftly to minimize disruptions to client operations.
  • Ability to deal directly with clients or end users in various locations.
  • A self-starter with the ability to read & understand technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
  • Knowledge and adherence to safety protocols and procedures, especially those related to electrical and mechanical systems.
Customer Support:
  • Clear communication skills to explain technical issues.
  • Responsible, able to maintain good customer relationship and respond to emergencies and solutions to clients and team members.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through on-site and remote support
  • Addressing client concerns and educating them on equipment use and maintenance.
  • Support to maintain rental fleet spare parts inventory that includes data entry of spare parts movement.
  • Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize tasks effectively.
RequirementsKnowledge / educational requirements
  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license for travel
  • Industry experiences working with generators, including installation, maintenance, and repair is preferable.
  • With basic mechanical trouble shooting ability
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be willing to travel to any worksite/branch for temporary job assignments mainly within Southeast Asia.
  • Willingness to be on standby duty during weekends/PH and after working hours.
