Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician for testing, sample preparation and delivery/collection of samples and preparation of test reports. In this role, you will gain considerable experience in construction material testing either with a commercial test house or contractor.

This role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soil, concrete and aggregate testing, density test and slump testing
• Sampling of concrete for compression and flexural test and conduct asphalt testing (preferable)
• Prepare and compile reports and acting as the key person in liaising with the clients on site
• Conducting and also leading a team of testers to perform the required tests on site
• Ensuring smooth operation of site testing services by ensuring the readiness of testing equipment and tools
• Continuously striving for productivity and safety improvement

Skills / Qualifications:

• Diploma / degree in Civils with at least 2 year experience in similar role, preferably in construction industry or site testing services
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams and to work under pressure and a team player with initiative, drive, good communication skills and a strong command of written English
• Experience in operating NDT equipments such as rebound hammer, Windsor probe, etc
• Ready to take night shift work and preferably possess a valid driving license.
