Responsibilities and Duties To professionally:

• plan, prepare and and deliver lessons according to the school's curriculum and pedagogy;
• take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary and secondary students;
• organize the classroom and learning resources and creative display to stimulate a positive learning environment;
• motivate students with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
• manage and maintain peace and order in the classroom;
• prepare and mark student’s paper to facilitate positive student development;
• prepare student’s observational records and evaluation;
• meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development;
• provide feedback to parents and guardians on a pupil's progress at parents' meet up (Parent-Teacher-Child Meeting) and other meetings;
• coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and support colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area;
• work with others to plan and coordinate work;
• keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;
• organize and take part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening if necessary;
• liaise with colleagues on work arrangement flexibly, particularly in smaller schools;
• work with parents and School Boards and Government bodies in Singapore to maximize their involvement in the school and the development of resources for the school;
• meet with other professionals such as education welfare officers and educational psychologists, if required;
• work harmoniously with co-faculty

Requirements:

• A diploma / bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education
• Teaching certificate will have an added advantage
• Good classroom management
• At least 2 years of classroom experience
• Excellent communication skills in English language to cater to Multi national students

Location: 231 Mountbatten Road, Mountbatten Centre
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
