Job Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Handling the day-to-day financial/accounting operations function

\xc2\xb7 Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from cash flow if any

\xc2\xb7 Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate

\xc2\xb7 Analyse significant monthly expense variance against budgeted number if any

\xc2\xb7 Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations)

\xc2\xb7 Review debtors aging generated from SAP for outstanding balances

\xc2\xb7 Communicate with sales personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts/billing discrepancies/question on overdue accounts (initiate collections on past-due accounts)

\xc2\xb7 Timely and accurate prepare of financial, management and Group reporting including consolidation package

\xc2\xb7 Preparing audits schedule, audit confirmation letters to banks, IC balance and reviews as required by auditor

\xc2\xb7 Preparation of year-end corporate tax assessment submission

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with external auditors and tax agent in annual statutory audits and Income Tax Returns

\xc2\xb7 Manage and supervise of junior finance staff

\xc2\xb7 Improves and streamlines financial and internal control procedures

\xc2\xb7 Developing and implementing strong internal controls and effective SOPs

\xc2\xb7 Other duties will include ad-hoc projects such as system implementation from time to time.

\xc2\xb7 Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Job Requirement:

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 At least 5-10 years of working experience in manufacturing industry

\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge of financial accounting and costing, including regulatory requirements and accounting standards
