Basic Purpose / General Objective:

• Key role that serves as the financial analyst for Asia regional office and Asia Commercial that covers Crude and Global LNG.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting support for Crude and LNG activities, including actualizing volume in Commercial system to accurately capture and report inventories, invoicing and associated A/R and A/P.
• Derivative monthly MTM accounting, and related financial statement reporting.
• Coordination and preparation of the Asia Commercial budget and outlooks.
• Work with Commercial management to provide analysis and ad hoc reporting.
• Work closely with Houston Commercial Coordinator to maintain and update SOX internal controls and process maps.
• Provide and coordinate data for external reporting such as audit, tax, government questionnaire and statutory statistic surveys.
• Provide cover for other team members as required.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or finance related.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and networks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial and/or accounting acumen.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective communication, influential and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase capabilities required.
• Strong SAP FI user.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in financial analysis in an Oil/Gas/LNG trading setting.
• Commercial applications such as RightAngle and TriplePoint.
