Job Purpose

This role is for Strides-YTL (ChargEco); a joint venture company. Reporting directly to Head of Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting and management reporting for the purpose of providing financial decision support to the management.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the Finance Analyst, FP&A are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

Financial analysis and business performance review

• Prepare and analyse the Company's actual financial performance against budget, forecast and prior year along with insight to help the management understand development in the business and why/how impact financial results
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management reports and commentaries for monthly/quarterly financial performance
• Lead data collection and consolidation to develop revenue and margin analysis, cost analysis and working capital optimisation
• Prepare other reporting/ analysis as required (e.g. industry related research, statistics compliation)
• Review and monitor monthly financial and non-financial metrics to identify risks and opportunities

Budgeting/Forecasting

• Prepare and manage the annual planning and budgeting cycle, including coordinating with different departments to set timelines and deliverables, review meeting coordination, financial consolidation and develop budget presentations
• Prepare and manage quarter forecast processes and develop presentation materials for board review and reporting

Others

• Assist in annual audit process and tax related matters
• Perform ad-hoc duties, reporting and analysis as assigned

Qualifications & Work Experience

Qualifications and work experience include:

• Degree or professional qualification (e.g. ACCA) in related fields (e.g. Finance, Accountancy or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with 1-2 years audit background

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word
• Well-versed in SAP system, Xero and Anaplan will be an advantage

• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-driven, able to work independently and deliver under pressure
