About Our Client
Our client is a private investment firm that invests in private equity, public equity and real estate.
Finance
\xe2\x97\x8f Cultivate and maintain relationships with financial service providers including bankers, accountants and tax advisors
\xe2\x97\x8f Prepare annual operating budget for the group
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with our accountants to prepare consolidated financial statements for the group
\xe2\x97\x8f Review and present annual financial statements to the board of directors
\xe2\x97\x8f Work with auditors to audit the books of the company
\xe2\x97\x8f Track operating expenses against operating budget
\xe2\x97\x8f Monitor and report on cash whenever necessary
\xe2\x97\x8f Review and report on accounting statements from the accountants monthly
\xe2\x97\x8f Take charge of all finance operations including but not limited to:
\xe2\x97\x8b Set up bank accounts
\xe2\x97\x8b Make bill payments
\xe2\x97\x8b Make salary payments including CPF payments to the Govt.
\xe2\x97\x8b Make director fee payments including filing and payment of withholding tax to the
Govt.
\xe2\x97\x8b Arrange for TT forms to be signed by the right signatory
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide support for investment due diligence
\xe2\x97\x8f Other finance functions as needed
Compliance
\xe2\x97\x8f Review and keep a record of all engagement agreements
\xe2\x97\x8f Review and keep a record of all legal agreements including share certificates, investment
agreements (with support from lawyers), NDAs, etc.
\xe2\x97\x8f Provide support to our portfolio for all AML/KYC needs
\xe2\x97\x8f Cultivate and maintain relationships with legal and statutory professional service providers
\xe2\x97\x8f Take responsibility for all statutory reporting including AGM, financial reporting, etc. to the
Govt.
\xe2\x97\x8f Other compliance functions as needed
The Successful Applicant
\xe2\x97\x8f Have at least 5 years of relevant experience
\xe2\x97\x8f Well versed in financial statement analysis, accounting principles and financial terminologies
\xe2\x97\x8f Have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and liaise with
all levels of management.
\xe2\x97\x8f Have strong project management skills
\xe2\x97\x8f Be detail-oriented with excellent qualitative and quantitative skill sets
\xe2\x97\x8f Willingness to be exposed to and learn about different asset classes
\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain confidentiality at all times about important company information
