Responsibilities:
An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding Singapore office as an Associate/Senior Associate and become a member of our Global Finance Practice.
To be a senior associate / 3-6 pqe associate, based in Singapore, covering the Asia-Pacific region for a global practice, and advise on banking & finance related matters, with a focus on:- fund finance
- project finance
- general lending and security
- banking & finance regulatory and advisory
- Work with the Singapore partners to support and interact with the team\'s clients which include financial institutions, funds and multi-national corporates throughout the region
- The scope of legal work is varied and includes drafting, negotiation and handling domestic through to complex multi-jurisdictional, multi-tiered, full and limited recourse financings as well as advisory aspects covering regulatory issues and new technologies such as finance Qualified in Singapore (English or Australian qualifications can be considered)
- At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Singapore (or 3pqe in England and Wales (or equivalent))
- Strong experience in banking and finance, with experience of fund finance being especially useful
- Willingness to learn new products and be a team player
- Take responsibility for running transactions and supervise juniors
- Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
- Attention to detail, organised, efficient and able to work under pressure
