Responsibilities: An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding Singapore office as an Associate/Senior Associate and become a member of our Global Finance Practice.
To be a senior associate / 3-6 pqe associate, based in Singapore, covering the Asia-Pacific region for a global practice, and advise on banking & finance related matters, with a focus on:
fund finance
project finance
general lending and security
banking & finance regulatory and advisory
Work with the Singapore partners to support and interact with the team\'s clients which include financial institutions, funds and multi-national corporates throughout the region
Qualifications / Person Specification:
The scope of legal work is varied and includes drafting, negotiation and handling domestic through to complex multi-jurisdictional, multi-tiered, full and limited recourse financings as well as advisory aspects covering regulatory issues and new technologies such as finance Qualified in Singapore (English or Australian qualifications can be considered)
At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Singapore (or 3pqe in England and Wales (or equivalent))
Strong experience in banking and finance, with experience of fund finance being especially useful
Willingness to learn new products and be a team player
Take responsibility for running transactions and supervise juniors
Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
Attention to detail, organised, efficient and able to work under pressure
