Job Description

Our client is an up and coming food/beverage manufacturing plant based in the Woodlands area in Singapore. They are looking for someone who can step in as a Finance Specialist to be responsible for operational transactions posting. This individual must work well independently and in a team environment and will be accountable for AP AR processing, intercompany billing, banking and account reconciliations. The individual will come with a Diploma in accounting/finance or similar field, with 3-5 years of working experience.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of daily transaction posting (AR/AP/Others) and overseeing all finance operations.
• Ensure the precision of posting.
• Collaborate with Buyers and Planners to address issues related to the GRIR (PO/Invoice matching) reconciliation process.
• Manage Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables management
• Manage Inventory and ensure that Inventory days align with the established KPIs.
• Take responsibility for and ensure accuracy in transaction posting, including monthly bank reconciliation.
• Handle CAPEX Management, including the maintenance of WBS and asset tagging.
• Participate in and support the year-end stock take exercise.
• Assist Procurement associates in sourcing quotations.
• Be responsible to ensure transactions posted in the month and all departments close the month end on time.
• Assist in yearly budgeting exercise when necessary.
• Preparation of KPI templates during month end, and perform cost analysis during transaction posting.
• Consult with Group on policy changes and communicate/interpret changes to plant management
