Job Description
Our client is a Non Profit Organization (NGO). They are looking for a Finance Controller to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in Central, easily accessible.
Responsibilities of Finance Controller:
- Oversee the preparation of short- and long-term budgets, treasury functions, and management of internal and external funds to effectively manage financial planning and accounting practices.
- Establish necessary procedures and systems to maintain accurate records, ensuring adequate accounting and financial controls and services.
- Source funds through both conventional and innovative methods to support capital expenditure.
- Review financial data for accuracy and ensure timely submission of internal and external financial and statutory reports.
- Manage taxation-related functions, ensuring ethical and professional approaches are employed to address any tax issues within the organization.
- Oversee internal and external audit activities, implementing policies and procedures with a focus on internal controls.
- Min Degree with accounting or any relevant field
- Min 10 years working experience
- Prior experience working in non profit sector is a bonus
- Prior experience in grant accounting, budgeting and enterprise risk management is a bonus
