Our client is a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction management solutions, specializing in high-technology production facilities primarily across Singapore and mainland China.They offer end-to-end services from consultancy and design to construction, ensuring exceptional quality and innovation in every project.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Controller to lead our financial operations in Singapore and mainland China. The Finance Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, planning and analysis, budgeting, and compliance. This role will provide strategic guidance to senior management, ensuring financial integrity and optimizing performance across projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance team in day-to-day operations, including supervision of accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to optimize project costing, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CA preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Malaysia occasionally.
• Proven work experience as a Finance Controller or similar role, preferably in the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software; proficiency in MS Excel required.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese would be advantageous.

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday: 9-6pm
• Location: Marine Parade, Parkway Parade
