Job Title: Finance Coordinator

THE OPPORTUNITY



The Finance Coordinator - is a key supporting role responsible for assisting with the preparation and processing of invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable activities, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.


THE WORK



Accounts Payable



o Assist with supplier payments and staff reimbursements


o Facilitate petty cash disbursements


o Support bank account reviews (SCB & HSBC)


o Update daily payments in the cashbook and perform bank reconciliations


o Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and identifying cash requirements


o Prepare and post all accounts payable transactions


Accounts Receivable



o Raise invoices as instructed by the Corporate or Institutional Division


o Maintain the master invoicing file and update daily receipts


o Identify and tag incoming funds to respective invoices.


o Liaise with banks regarding unidentified receipts and revenue recognition


o Generate month-end reports of outstanding receivables for follow-up


o Follow up on outstanding payments


Other Responsibilities



o Perform monthly bank reconciliation.


o Tag incoming funds to respective events and congresses


o Provide ad hoc support as instructed


THE CONNECTION



Reporting to Assistant Finance Director


THE MUST HAVE



o Fluent in English, additional Asian language is a bonus


o Good knowledge Windows 365 Excel Word and Outlook


THE GOOD TO HAVE



o Diploma/Degree Interns (Accounting or Finance)


o An innate multitasker organised and meticulous and positive team player.


o Demonstrate a customer service mindset with a proactive disposition.


o Clear communication and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
