Finance Director (commodity Trading)

The Company
Our client is an established company specializing in the trading of crude oil & petroleum products and as part of their growth plans in Asia, they are looking for a Finance Director to join their dynamic team.
The Role
Reporting to the global CFO, you will lead a team of 20 in overseeing the finance and accounting operations for Singapore. This will include financial and management accounting and reporting, treasury, credit, cashflow, trade finance, settlements, preview and negotiation of contracts.
This is a highly visible role within the organization and you will have the opportunity to partner the Managing Director on budget and forecast, short and long terms investments, etc.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience
- At least 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounting within the commodities industry, ideally exposure to Oil and Energy Trading
- Proven managerial experience in leading a larger team
- Experience in driving process improvement, efficiency and system implementation projects
- Exposure to SAP ERP systems will be preferred but not a must
