At dnata, we are by your side for the entire travel experience.As the Finance Director, dnata Singapore, you are responsible for the financial delivery, governance and business partnering of the dnata Ground Handling and Cargo business in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Managing Director dnata Singapore, with a dotted line to the dnata Regional CFO - Asia Pacific, the Financial Director will assist the Managing Director and leadership team with the development of the commercial and operational strategy to achieve the organizations long-term vision of becoming the worlds most admired air service provider.In this role you will:

• Direct efforts to meet Singapore's profit and cash flow targets, aligning them with the broader group objectives.
• Take charge of financial reporting in Singapore, overseeing submissions to the group, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
• Manage liquidity and working capital dynamics in Singapore, encompassing cash flow forecasting and coordinating funding to support operational needs effectively.
• Collaborate with the Regional CFO APAC to craft and sustain a financing strategy for dnata Singapore, catering to present and future cash, investment, and developmental necessities, with a particular focus on financing sustainability initiatives.
• Take the lead in forecasting, budgeting, and audit engagements within Singapore, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide strategic counsel to local business leaders across commercial, operational, and support functions to optimize business performance.
• Offer financial expertise and support to the Regional CFO APAC in navigating M&A activities within Singapore, overseeing the entire process from valuation to integration.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls in adherence to regional governance frameworks, safeguarding shareholder interests.
• Lead and nurturing the Singapore finance team, collaborating closely with the Regional CFO APAC in talent management and succession planning.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities for the Procurement and IT teams in Singapore to enhance operational efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Lead initiatives to enhance business processes through technological advancements and policy improvements, ensuring effective business management practices.
• Establish and nurturing relationships with dnata and Emirates group functions in Dubai, as well as with Singapore banking partners, suppliers, audit firms, and governmental bodies.
• Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations within the organization to maintain a safe and conducive work environment for all stakeholders.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Proven track record of exceptional performance and delivery
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation
• Fully conversant and up to date with all aspects of financial Singapore law incl. tax and best practice
• Advanced in the use of MS Office applications and financial systems
• P&L ownership of a complex, multi-site business
• Aviation and logistics experience preferred but not a pre-requisite
