With a proven track record of excellence, our client is seeking an experienced Finance Director to head up the Finance & Accounting function for the region.

The RoleReporting to the Group CEO, this is a highly visible and crucial role within the organization and you drive all financial performance and support the strategic direction of the company. Your key responsibilities include:

• Oversee the full spectrum of Finance and Accounting: Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. This includes financial and management reporting, tax compliance, internal controls, and cashflow management.
• Business Partnering with Operations, Project Managers, and Procurement: Collaborate closely with operations, project managers, and procurement teams to provide financial insights and analysis, supporting decision-making processes. Act as a strategic partner by providing financial guidance and analysis on business initiatives, cost optimization, and performance improvement opportunities.
• Strategic Planning and Risk Management: Support the business in strategic planning, identifying areas of risk and opportunities for growth and profitability. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the achievement of business objectives. Monitor key performance indicators and provide recommendations to drive financial success.
• Drive Process Improvement and System Implementation: Continuously evaluate and enhance finance and accounting processes, systems, and controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Lead the implementation of new financial systems, tools, and technologies to support business growth and streamline financial operations.

Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

• At least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting
• Prior experience within a project based environment will be essential (eg. Engineering, Construction, Process Automation, etc)
• Proven experience in working with procurement (eg. Experience in reviewing procurement processes and agreements as well as negotiation of commercial terms)
• Strong business partnering skills and commercial savviness to support the CEO and senior management team in growing the business across the region
• Proven experience in a leadership capacity
• Strong communication and presentation skills will be essential
