:THE COMPANYOur Client is a Global MNC in the Professional Services industry (P&L size of $3 Billion USD) with strong presence in APAC and headquartered in Singapore. They are now looking for a Finance Director for the Singapore
business and wider Middle East and Asia region, to join their team in Singapore, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer based in UAE.THE ROLEThe Regional Finance Director will be responsible for:Financial Management and Reporting

• Oversee regional financial matters, including financial and management reporting, consolidation of group accounts, taxation, and ad-hoc reports for the group\'s headquarters.
• Oversee the process for financial reporting and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Lead the company\'s statutory and IFRS audit.
• Manage cashflow, treasury cash management, and credit control.
• Implement effective tax planning and structuring for the region and the group

Risk Management and Compliance

• Review and improve current risk management processes with local senior management.
• Assess risks of proposals and contract terms, including negotiation and resolution of commercial contract disputes.
• Review and process Non-Disclosure Agreements and other cooperative business arrangements. Ensure legal documents are completed and signed (excluding job projects).
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on compliance with asset management policies and procedures.

Leadership and Staff Development

• Provide guidance to Finance Department staff on implementing and updating local and Group financial policies and procedures.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Finance Department staff, enhancing their knowledge and competency in accounting and financial work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a Degree in Accountancy/Finance
• Proven work experience in a Senior Finance Management role for at least 5 years.
• Experience across finance controllership function.
• Strong business acumen and keen analytic skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and works well in a fast-paced start up ecosystem.
• Demonstrated senior leadership experience, emphasizing successful operational management and strategic planning.
• Proven track record of enhancing organizational growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytic skills.
