POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a commercially-minded Finance Director to lead financial operations for the firm's funds and management company. This role requires someone who blends technical expertise with strategic thinking - acting as more than just a fund reporting specialist. The successful candidate will be highly visible to the firm's leadership, report directly to the Group CEO, and serve as a key stakeholder in a partnership-based decision-making environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Fund Administration & Governance

Lead a supportive internal finance team and oversee external fund administrators to deliver accurate, timely reporting for all fund entities Manage capital calls, distributions, performance tracking, and investor communications Oversee partner allocations, carried interest calculations, and NAV/returns tracking Ensure regulatory compliance with Singapore MAS, US, and Cayman authorities Chair internal compliance board as the designated Singapore Compliance Officer (with support from external advisors)

Commercial Financial Management

Apply CFO-level thinking to operations - assessing cash runway sufficiency, optimizing cost management, and providing strategic financial guidance Support portfolio companies with financial analysis and reporting oversight Collaborate cross-functionally with Investment and Investor Relations teams

Fund Management Company Operations

Manage FMC accounting, budgeting, and reporting Ensure compliance with MAS VCFM license requirements Strengthen internal financial controls and streamline processes

Fund Formation Support

Assist with upcoming fund launches, from structuring to investor onboarding

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

10-15 years of experience blending public accounting and in-house fund finance leadership Strong fund reporting expertise combined with commercial/CFO-level perspective Experience managing both internal finance teams and external service providers Excellent presentation skills with the ability to represent the firm professionally Excellent interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence and professional judgment Ability to navigate partnership dynamics and build consensus among multiple stakeholders Singapore regulatory knowledge (external compliance advisory support available) Self-starter with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment
