About the Role

For the first time, WildBrain is offering an amazing opportunity for an internship for student to gain exposure for finance function in licensing business within WildBrain CPLG in Singapore.

You will work closely with Regional finance and HQ finance team. You will learn about multi-territory tax matters and Royalties revenue recognition. You will involve with Financial Analysis projects across categories including toys & games, fashion & apparel, food & beverages & many more. You will also involve with Finance, Administrative, and operations; this placement will give valuable industry experience and insight into the operations of a successful international business.

• Collect operational and market data for financial analysis.
• Identify trends and variances from the data.
• Help in the reconciliation of account receivables and payables, banks, bill payment.
• Support AR chasers and follow up.
• Supports communication/translation of documents as necessary.
• Payment filling \xe2\x80\x93 merge with bank payment advice and vendor invoice for filling and tracking purpose
• Assist with audit.
• Data entry
• Assist in Month end closing \xe2\x80\x93 Eg claims check and follow ups.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
• Any ad hoc/additional operational finance duties which may be assigned by the Management.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be Pursuing Accountancy/Business management or equivalent qualifications.
• Possess great communication skills in English and Chinese (Korean is a plus) and be able to adapt to in a multinational setting.
• Detail orientated with good organizational, and time management skills.
• Meticulous and a team player
• Keen eye for details and strong will to learn.
