Position Duties

We offer a finance internship like no other. Being part of an in-house finance team holding most financial certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA), you will get an understanding of financial function from single document entry to strategic financial management, through statutory reporting, management reporting, modelling, business partnering and investor relationships, sometimes working on concepts that are at the forefront of financial management, exceeding industry best practices.

We need you to be highly analytical, curious and organised, interested in holistic financial management and already having a good understanding of accounting concepts. These are the tasks that we would require you to be involved in:

• Assisting the finance team in financial and data analysis.
• Creating dashboards, pivot tables, graphs, spreadsheet models from raw data.
• Providing financial statistics.
• Working on financial modeling, data cleaning & analysis, KPI tracking and process optimizations.

We will explain all the rest, give you autonomy and mentor you to become the next financial leader of Singapore. When your internship is concluded after 6 months you will hold 3 years worth of experience and dazzle your peers and market with your practical and conceptual knowledge.

Requirements:

• Preferably accounting-trained or understudying accounting/finance/business.
• Understands finance and accounting, e.g. profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, e.t.c
• Familiar with MS Office suite and Google G Suite. In particular MS Excel and Google Sheets and able to work with more advanced formulas e.g. IF, AND, OR, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, e.t.c
• Loves working with numbers and detail-oriented.
• Smart, hardworking, and a goal-getter that is not afraid to get stuff done.
• Flexible and able to think on his/her feet.
• Eye for accuracy.
