About Our ClientOur client specializes in providing engineering services, testing, and certification solutions across various industries. They are known for their comprehensive capabilities in testing and certifying products to meet industry standards and regulations.Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee regular accounting and reporting processes, including month-end and year-end reporting, monthly financial and cash-flow forecasting, and annual budgeting.
• Handle tax reporting and filing.
• Manage risk, including insurance matters in collaboration with HQ, and handle claims in coordination with the insurance company.
• Ensure adequate financing to support operations and investments, working closely with HQ and local financial institutions (e.g., banks).
• Execute monthly and annual financial closing procedures (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-flow), coordinating with local authorities and external auditors.
• Enhance finance transaction processes (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable) to improve productivity and control.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance department.
• Manage the Finance Team, including setting team and individual goals, implementing employee development plans, and providing coaching.
• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to the Managing Director.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 8 years of experience in finance and accounting in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience with tax, customs, and transfer pricing issues related to cross-border transactions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, including their financial implications.
• Proficient in ERP systems; familiarity with Navision and SAP is advantageous.
• Experience in managing a small team of at least 4 staff.
• Knowledgeable in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
