Roles & Responsibilities

Principal responsibilities

\xc2\xa7 leading and managing the overall Finance Team, reporting to the Country Manager of the Singapore Branch.

\xc2\xa7 Lead and build a high performing financial reporting function that support internal/external financial and regulatory reporting and accounting control efficiently within a consistent governance framework

\xc2\xa7 Ensure appropriate accounting applications and drive implementation of new accounting standards, regulatory reporting guidance and Group accounting policies and reporting requirements.

\xc2\xa7 Drive business performance and support senior management to make sound business making by providing insightful financial performance analytics and highlighting risks and opportunities.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure accuracy and data integrity in the end-to-end financial reporting process and regulatory process by ensuring compliance with the internal control requirement and assessing adequacy in the changing environment.

\xc2\xa7 Drive reengineering and transformation of financial reporting processes to support faster reporting and contribute to timely management decision making and strategy formulation.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure full engagement with other Finance functions within the Group.

\xc2\xa7 Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and inclusion.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure proactive management of controllable cost base.

\xc2\xa7 Support business propositions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment and financial and regulatory reporting and disclosure.

Requirements

• University degree in related discipline, with a recognized professional accounting qualification.

• Minimum of eight years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in finance, preferably in a banking environment.

• Experience in exposure across multiple finance disciplines including financial accounting and reporting, business information and analysis, asset and capital management and change management will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of MAS reporting requirements and other relevant local regulations.

Salary: $8000 - $10000

Location: CBD

Working hours: office hours 5 weekdays
