Palawan Beach - located on Sentosa Island in Singapore, is Shangri-La Group's first standalone lifestyle and entertainment precinct. Bringing colourful joys of life to our guests outside of the hotel setting, Shangri-la is leveraging the decades of experience we have in hospitality, Food & Beverage and the family experiences; designed to bring families and friends together, enabling our guests to play, explore and bond together. Scheduled to open in March 2023, this iconic new beach playground will be home to several new-to-Singapore attractions. We are looking for the Finance Manager/Chief Accountant to join our team!

As the Finance Manager/ Chief Accountant , we rely on you to:

• Perform general accounting functions and ensure that accounts are maintained accurately
• Work closely with Finance Share Services all on areas on accounting
• Review all payments and daily income journal
• Verification of monthly balance sheet and expenses analysis
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and present to management
• Assist in Capex and Budget, income tax matters and GST returns

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for numbers and figures
• Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
• Preferably possesses relevant working experience in a 5* international hotel
• Possesses strong organizational and analytical skills, with strong commercial acumen
• Is detail-oriented with the ability to translate results into understandable and actionable information
• Is a critical thinker and a problem-solver
