Scope

• Responsibility for closing of books for entities under charge
• Review and approval of journals prepared by junior team members
• Liaising with countries and providing guidance on accounting and reporting matters
• Review of intercompany balances and elimination at group level
• Liaising with auditors to ensure completion of statutory audit for entities under charge and assigned
• Any other duties / adhoc projects assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy / ACCA
• Minimum 7 years of experience of which at least 3 years in managerial role or above
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidation
• Independent, fast learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous, hands-on and responsible team player in completion of areas assigned and providing support to core team
• Can-do and supportive attitude to meet tight timelines
• Good communicator with initiative
