Formative Search is partnering up with one of the largest global renewable energy company who are looking to expand their team in Singapore. You will play a key role in assisting with the full spectrum of financial accounting, tax, statutory and other reporting. You will be reporting to the Finance & System Director in Singapore.

What will you be doing?:

• Finance operations including accounting, tax, treasury, group reporting and inter-company rebilling and recharge.
• Budgeting, Long Term Planning and other financial planning and analysis required in business lines
• Monitoring the treasury line and the shareholder loan financing provided
• Review and approve accounting entries prepared by finance executives in Microsoft Dynamics
• Prepare monthly reporting for the legal entity
• Prepare and submit Group Reporting (CAP) quarterly
• Review of tax filings and returns (e.g. withholding tax, VAT, annual tax returns etc.) in Singapore
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities monthly and report to finance controllers of the renewables business lines in Singapore and headquarters
• Collaborate with accounting, tax, HR and other functions in affiliates
• In charge of year-end audit
• Ensure inter-company and intra-group transactions are booked and reconciled timely
• Ensure Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s regulatory and statutory reporting is prepared and submitted on time
• Implement and monitor the group finance governance compliance roll-out
• Involve and support regional finance projects and initiatives
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments management may request from time to time

What An Outstanding Candidate Will Look Like:

• Degree in accounting/finance
• Professional qualification (e.g. CPA)
• 5-7 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies
• Minimum 3 years of operational accounting relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a strong plus
• Good knowledge of IFRS and respective Asia countries\' accounting, tax rules and regulations requirement
• Experience with renewable energy business is preferred
• Prior experience in a Big 4 professional accounting firm is an advantage
