Further, the role will be responsible for various fixed assets accounting and reporting activities within the company.Make an Impact by:

• Provide management and financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and outer year projections for IP & TV Engineering within Networks in Singapore.
• Develop business cases to assess the financial feasibility of Capital Expenditure required to support Business strategy. This includes profitability analysis; using measures like Return on Invested Capital, NPV and Payback Period.
• Support cost transformation initiatives, business case evaluation and strategies.
• Support Network Cost Allocation Review, Analysis and Syndication with Product Finance.
• Assist management to ensure business practices and processes are in line with good corporate governance. Be mindful of potential areas of exposure, identify them and work with the business to address control gaps and mitigate risks.
• Provide guidance to the business on asset capitalisation policy and drive timely commissioning of projects to assets.
• Perform financial assessment for vendor due diligence.
• Consolidate Network Group Capex for reporting of In Year Actual, Forecast & Budget and Outer Years Forecast to management. This includes annual Budget Capex, year-end Actual vs Budget Capex and quarterly forecast Capex paper preparation. Need to engage internal stakeholders to assess reasonableness of the Capex Forecast, Budget and Outer Years Forecast, and highlight opportunities/risk in these estimates.
• Drive the retraction of Capex In Year Forecast and Budget from BPC to SAP to facilitate users to draw down from (including engaging IT to resolve all data inaccuracies during retraction).
• Address staff cost capitalisation policy queries and collaborate with IT and Financial Operations to enhance the Timesheet Module to address needs from group-wide units like Network, IT and other Business units.
• Any other duties and projects as assigned by the Finance Director.

Skills for Success:

• Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior working experience in external audit will be an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable in SFRS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work in a team.
• Interpersonal and people management skills.
