Finance Manager

Location:

East, Singapore





We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations in Singapore and our overseas subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to our headquarters in Japan.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly financial statements for Singapore and review all overseas subsidiaries. Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting package in accordance with Head office requirements and reporting standards.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal compliance. Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory frameworks across multiple countries.

Accounting Operations

Prepare full sets of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets. Day to day financial activities. Perform treasury functions and experience in handling multi-currency transactions.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.

Audit, Tax and Internal Controls

Prepare and coordinate with Head Office corporate auditing and external auditors. Strengthen financial controls and implement best practices. Prepare corporate tax computation and review subsidiaries computation. Familiar with J-sox internal control requirements.

Team Leadership & Subsidiary Support

Lead and provide financial guidance to both local and overseas finance teams to ensure consistent accounting practices across all entities. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. * Prior experience with SAP is an added advantage.
