Finance Manager

, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, supporting practice heads, and ensuring robust financial operations across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Reporting

Lead the firm's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.


Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, financial statements, and partner reports.


Develop dashboards and reports to support decision-making at partner level.

Cashflow & Trust Accounting

Oversee day-to-day cashflow management and banking relationships.


Supervise client account and trust accounting to ensure full compliance with the Legal Profession (Solicitors' Accounts) Rules.


Liaise with auditors on annual audits, including Law Society audits.

Regulatory & Tax Compliance

Ensure timely filing of GST, corporate tax, and other regulatory returns.


Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and Singapore legal regulations.

Process & Systems Management

Review and improve financial processes, internal controls, and practice management systems.


Implement best practices in billing, collections, WIP tracking, and cost control.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.


Work closely with Managing Partners, Practice Heads, and Operations to align financial goals with business strategy.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. CPA / CA / ACCA qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years of finance experience, ideally within a professional services firm; law firm experience is a strong advantage. Familiarity with legal accounting systems (e.g. Clio, Affinity, Timeslips, or similar) is a plus. Strong working knowledge of trust accounting and regulatory compliance in legal practice. Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and communication skills. Proven leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach.
