Roles & Responsibilities

A well-established engineering firm is seeking a

Finance Manager

to lead and oversee its financial operations and reporting functions. This role is instrumental in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and accurate reporting across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage full spectrum of accounting functions Oversee monthly and annual financial closing processes Lead preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the group Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and other statutory requirements Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterly updates, and year-end financial announcements Manage the company's annual budget preparation and review Forecast cash flow positions and funding requirements Review tax computations and support compliance activities Support internal control audits (ICFR) Supervise accounting staff in day-to-day operations Assist with the preparation of the Annual Report

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA qualification required Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience Prior experience in the shipyard or construction industry is preferred Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, tax, and compliance Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
