Role Overview

This role plays a critical part in driving the group's financial consolidation, reporting, and strategic finance initiatives. The incumbent will lead and support consolidation across multiple entities and regions, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards while partnering closely with senior management to provide insights that shape business decisions. The position also offers involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage financial consolidation and reporting processes across multiple entities and regions in accordance with IFRS/GAAP. Oversee intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, and equity accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance. Partner with regional finance teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting and analysis. Provide financial insights and performance analysis to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making. Drive process improvement initiatives across consolidation, forecasting, and financial transformation projects.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Accounting or equivalent, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, including external audit and MNC exposure. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS or Japanese GAAP, with hands-on experience in financial consolidation and reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities. * Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight reporting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
