The Role

You will be responsible for the full spectrum of the accounting & finance functions of the Company, its subsidiaries and group consolidation across the region. You can expect a diverse portfolio within the group from offline to online businesses ranging from sand supply, reclamation and construction, Travel and Lifestyle, Retail e-Commerce to the latest venture on Technology.





This will be a hands-on leadership role, supporting the Head of Finance in overseeing the Accounts team in ensuring prompt and accurate accounts and financial statements, budgeting, cashflow management and closings.





The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of regional finance exposure coupled with strong commercial sense. You are a trusted business partner and enjoy being immersed in a highly entrepreneurial environment. You are highly adaptive and a strong believer that change is a constant. What you'll be doing:

Oversees the daily operations of the Accounts team Maintain a trusted partnership with the stakeholders across various functionalities Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of all accounting tasks across the regionWeekly - Management Reports

+ Forecast and Budgeting
+ Cashflow Management
+ Monthly closing
+ Handles correspondences with auditors, tax authorities, corporate secretaries
Constantly look for ways to achieve greater efficiency around workflows and deliverables Drive timely and accurate monthly and year end closing activities and provide accurate financial reports to all internal and external stakeholders Analyse financial performance and highlight any anomalies and risk from the financial data Assist in audit and ensure compliance with the Financial Reporting Standards

What we look for:

CPA/CA with ACCA or Accounting Degree At least 6 years of experience in financial accounting and/ or related capacity Regulatory reporting and knowledge of IFRS preferred Proficient in team management and nurturing with the mindset of growing together Highly motivated with an impeccable work ethics Possesses strong entrepreneurship and excels in a flexible and fast-moving environment involving multiple stakeholders Strong analytical mind and a problem-solver Thrive to think outside the box, innovate and differentiate A self-starter with an exceptional interpersonal skills Strong computer literacy Experience with the Accounting Software, Xero will be an added advantage * Experience with marine/ dredging industry is a plus
