Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee the company's overall financial management, including accounting, reporting, and compliance. Handle full set of accounts independently, including month-end closing and financial statements preparation. Manage and review GST filings, Ensure correct GST coding and entries, aligned with IRAS and company reporting requirements. Manage staff claims and reimbursements, and ensure all financial records comply with statutory requirements. Manage the full Accounts Payable (AP) process, including supplier invoice verification and timely payment preparation. Accurately record vendor invoices and employee expense claims in the Xero accounting system, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval procedures. Prepare and maintain the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and fixed asset schedules. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure accurate financial data. Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and company timelines. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, review of P&L variances, and audit coordination. Liaise with external auditors and ensure the completion of statutory audits within deadlines. Consolidate financial statements across overseas subsidiaries for group-level reporting. Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, and provide recommendations to management for performance improvement. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and automation of financial operations.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; or professional qualifications such as ACCA / CPA / CA (intermediate ACCA level accepted). Minimum 2 years of experience in handling full set of accounts. Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, or other major accounting software. Sound knowledge of GST filing, bank reconciliation, and Singapore financial compliance. Able to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts in China. Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and time management skills. Proactive, independent, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-border environment. * A collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
