Finance Manager Asia (m/f/d)
to oversee all financial, statutory, and compliance activities across our entities in
Singapore, Korea, and China
, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements.
Role Overview
As the
Finance Manager Asia
, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting, tax management, and business control across multiple Asian entities. You will lead local accounting teams and external service providers, manage audits, and coordinate closely with Group Finance and HQ to ensure consistency in reporting and system implementation.
This role combines hands-on accounting expertise with regional leadership and offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvement and financial excellence in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate company-level reporting in compliance with local regulations and Group Accounting Manual (IFRS) under a global shared service structure
Oversee the financial position of each regional entity, including P&L statements and balance sheets
Liaise with external service providers for statutory accounting, income tax, GST, and indirect tax compliance
Prepare and review financial analyses and reports for authorities, auditors, and other external stakeholders
Manage and coordinate audits (statutory and tax) across Singapore, China, and Korea
Supervise and support monthly and annual closings, ensuring timely and accurate results
Lead and develop regional accounting teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
Support HQ Finance with group consolidation, transfer pricing, intercompany reconciliations, and audit readiness
Collaborate with HQ on ERP/IT system roll-outs (D365FO) in Asia and drive process harmonization
Provide business administration support to the Managing Director and participate in regional financial projects
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in Singapore with strong knowledge of local accounting, corporate tax, and GST regulations
Solid understanding of international accounting standards (IFRS) and financial management principles
CPA / ACCA / CA certification preferred
Hands-on experience in statutory reporting, tax compliance, and working with external auditors
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) is an advantage
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multicultural teams
Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional Asian language skills are an advantage
