Finance Manager

Salary: S$3,800 \xe2\x80\x93 S$5,500 Working Hours: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, 5.5 day\xe2\x80\x99s work week Location: Changi

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the full set of accounts.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and year-end closing of accounts.
• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the Company, such as invoicing, stock listing, and all banking-related duties.
• Preparation of monthly and yearly schedules, reports, and other ad-hoc requests assigned by the Superior.
• Ensure all purchase invoices, staff reimbursements are checked and verified in accordance with Company policies before posting and payment processing.
• Ensure all receipts and expenditures are posted to the correct GL codes.
• To work closely with Supply Chain and Sales team and support stock count activities.
• To work closely with the Sales team to monitor customers\xe2\x80\x99 invoices and payment issues.
• To closely monitor all Receivables and Payables aging and constantly improve the collection and payment activities that are done in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and financial reports are maintained in accordance with SFRS.
• Ensure all records and documents are properly filed and maintained.
• Handle audit, cash flow forecasting, Corporate tax, GST filing, and other statutory compliance matters.
• To perform any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
  

• Accounting Degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant local commercial working experience.
• A sound working knowledge of fundamental accounting and taxation issues.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately to meet tight deadlines and have a sense of urgency.
• Able to work under stress with a good sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated & willing to accept new challenges.
• A team player and able to work independently.
• Well-versed in double entries, excel, and cloud-based accounting software.
• Able to start work immediately or with short notice.
• Willing to work on Saturday.
• Willing to work in the Changi area.
