Job Description


CLIENT SUMMARY
Our client is a young and progressive company engaging in residential and commercial (hotels and offices) renovation and development projects.

Some of their esteemed clients include Hilton Orchard Singapore, Singhaiyi Office, Singapore Post, Changi Airport, Babel Asia, The Asian Kitchen, ST Engineering and many others.

The Main Responsibilities:

  • Handles full spectrum of monthly financial accounting from preparation, reconciling, closing, reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Oversee quarterly GST submissions and posting to GL.
  • Develop and manage financial monitoring and reporting systems, track division budgets and financial indicators, including billability, accounts receivable, and accounts payable; comply with all contract reporting requirements;
  • Review all projects expenditure; control cash flow; develop and monitor fields financial systems;
  • Develop and monitor administrative, procurement, and logistics systems, oversee adherence to policies and processes and ensure standardization; ensure effective measurement of timing and contractual agreements; track all orders and expenses.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors on the payment issue
  • Perform Creditors Reconciliation
  • Handle staff reimbursements
  • Assist in cash management
  • Use relevant IT systems and tools effectively for data analysis
  • Manage a team of 2 Finance assistants
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Diploma in Accountancy or ACCA Level 1
  • 5-10 Years experience in similar capacity
  • Advanced MS Excel skills/Macros
  • Knowledge in accounting software will be advantageous
  • Meticulous and good interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in construction will be a plus
  • Able to communication in Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese stakeholders
  • Able to work under timeline pressure
  • Able to start immediately or with short notice
