Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Accurately prepare monthly management reports and analysis on variance

\xc2\xb7 Prepare financial statements for audit, for the company and its subsidiaries (with full consolidation where required)

\xc2\xb7 Review full set of accounts prepared by external accountants

\xc2\xb7 Manage periodic reporting process, including cash flow, reconciliations, analysis and control checks

\xc2\xb7 Be a key point of contact for other departments on financial, tax and accounting matters

\xc2\xb7 Develop an in-depth knowledge of our exchange platform and processes; subsequently, lead process improvements, systems enhancements in relation to financials

\xc2\xb7 Support GST and regulatory filings

\xc2\xb7 Liaison with external auditors and outsourced providers e,g, tax agents

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 5 to 8 years of professional experience, with strong hands-on corporate accounting exposure

\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of full sets of financial accounts, preferably with experience in project management or exposure to the financial markets

\xc2\xb7 Familiar and hands-on experience with audits and accounts payable/receivable cycles.

\xc2\xb7 Passion for the development of clearly-defined and optimization of operational processes

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks.

\xc2\xb7 Meticulous individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

\xc2\xb7 Preferably able to speak Mandarin fluently, due to the need to liaise with China accountants and associated service providers (e.g. Corporate Secretary)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in ESOP Management, MAS CMS reporting, financial instruments would be a bonus

Skills, Knowledge and/or Certifications:

Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
