As a Finance Manager, you will be reporting to the Senior Finance Director. You will oversee full spectrum of Financial control and reporting responsibilities. Ideal candidates are experienced finance leaders who are collaborative and insightful to lead our Accounting and Taxation team in 2 locations. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial expertise and support that empowers them to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and a trusted leader who will foster a culture of respect, inclusivity and transparency in the organization.
Your tasks

• Manage & develop the accounting and shared services teams
• Support & ensure smooth monthly reporting and year end closing processes
• Effective collaboration across all departments on process improvements
• Continuously structure, standardize and optimize financial processes and controls.
• Overseeing audit and tax functions and managing GST & tax compliance including withholding tax.
• Work with the SAP implementation team to streamline existing and future finance processes (both Financial and Management reporting), increase finance transparency and reduce month end closing timelines while ensuring a strong controlled environment.
• Handle Governmental agencies queries and grant application including regular follow up.
• And other related duties associated with the position.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting; with minimum 10 years of experience in a management role.
• Experience with dealing with external parties eg Auditors, Consultants, Government agencies
• Drive for results and demonstrate a decisive coaching leadership style with strong collaboration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of SAP/SAP HANA is required.
• Demonstrate critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities that can be actionable.
• Able to work with tight deadlines within dynamic international business experience.
• Effective written & verbal communication, leadership, presentation & mentoring skills
• Experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Finance accounting experience in manufacturing environment.
• Good command of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards & Taxation will be preferred.
