COMPANY DESCRIPTION

POSCO INTERNATIONAL Singapore is a global trading and investment company and a subsidiary of POSCO Intenational. It is involved in various sectors including energy, steel, food, and component materials. The company specializes in areas like the LNG value chain, renewable energy, steel and raw materials, secondary battery materials, and eco-friendly vehicle components.









DESIGNATION : [POSCO INTERNATIONAL] Finance Manager (Korean-Speaking)




RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Processing Trade Transactions:



o Handle issuance, amendment, and settlement of Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, and Standby LCs



o Process Import/Export Bills for Collection, Documentary Credits, and Trust Receipts


o Manage Inward and Outward Bills for Collection and related documentation





2. Document Review & Compliance:



o Scrutinize shipping and financial documents for compliance with company policy


o Ensure timely checking of documents under LCs and collections, and raise discrepancies if any



o Monitor compliance related to trade transactions





3. Risk Management & Credit Monitoring:



o Monitor and manage credit lines and limits related to trade transactions



o Identify and escalate risks or irregularities in trade deals


o Assist with audits and internal compliance checks





4. System Operations & Cross-Department Coordination:



o Input and manage trade transactions in internal system


o Generate reports on trade volumes, client activities, and operational metrics


o Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Operations, Compliance, and Treasury teams to ensure smooth processing



o Work with external parties such as banks, shipping companies, and customs agents when necessary









QUALIFICATIONS

o Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field



o 2-5 years of experience in Trade Finance or Banking Sector



o Good understanding of Banking and Financing terms



o Strong attention to detail and risk awareness



o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint



o Experience in market research and business strategies will be a plus

o Annual Leave: Starting from 14 days per year



o Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM



o Salary : Negotiable depending on experience



o Language Requirement: Korean-speaking preferred/included to facilitate communication with the headquarters in Korea and collaboration with Korean-speaking clients
