Responsibilities:

  • Ensure financial reporting is timely and accurate in accordance with Group guidelines and any relevant local regulations and local statutory rules.
  • Perform analysis of financial and non-financial key performance indicators. Advise and consult management team regarding company performance based on those and on targets.
  • Provide good tools and analysis to the Management in order to support and achieve the company targets for cash-flow, profitability, collection period, lower overdue receivables and growth.
  • Embrace the Group's Planning Process by coordinating and promoting it to key staff in your organization.
  • Safeguard a good internal control processes in order to protect the company assets, to control the financial performance of the company and to ensure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with "The Way We Do Things" and local statutory accounting practice.
  • Safeguard integrity and transparency of operations and of the legal structure by making sure that FAM and Business Code of Practice is understood and applied where relevant
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Finance team.
  • Guarantee efficient processes and good collaboration between units are in place.
  • Responsible for accounting, accounts payables and accounts receivables.
  • Raise "red flags" to operational and/or holding management whenever compliance with sound business principles are at risk.
  • Ensure a sound implementation and application of Business Control Process in Atlas Copco as define in 'The Way We Do Things".
  • Review or implement policies and procedures.
  • Lead local projects and drive improvements.
  • Prepare Tax calculations and files.
  • Work in collaboration with Holding on legal matters.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must have strong leadership skills and people management skills.
  • Able to communicate with impact. Work cooperatively with all departments in a spirit of teamwork to address problem areas and find potential areas of opportunity.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and innovation in problem solving and anticipating business needs.
  • Must have a strong desire to succeed. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple activities with resiliency, work hours as required to get the job done.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance supervision/management is required.
Education:
  • 4-year degree in accounting, finance or related is required.
Travel:
  • Frequent travels to Malaysia are necessary - around 10% of time.
