Responsibility for the day-to-day accounting functions of the business.
Playing the role of a Finance Business Partner - Draw up regular analyses and reports to ensure that the GM and Leadership Team has sufficient information to take decisions.
Accurately reporting on the financial performance of the organization.
Taking the lead in the budget process and contributing to the development of the budget and control systems.
Coordinate and organize the different activities of the Finance Department according to the priorities and competencies of each and the needs of the organization to ensure an efficient and effective service can be offered that meets the quality criteria of the organization within the set terms.
Assist with preparation of schedules and assist the auditors (Group and local) in their inquiries. To support Finance team in streamlining and establishing the processes for reconciliation of balances.
Determine accountancy procedures and lead improvement projects that focus on the implementation of new accountancy systems and rules to ensure that the best possible financial services are guaranteed based on efficient procedures and systems.
Managing, coaching and developing the finance team members in order to develop and make optimal use of their competences, skills and knowledge and to operate as a well-functioning team.
Ensure you are well-informed about the evolutions and developments related to finances and accountancy and that your knowledge is up-to-date within the context of the amendments to regulations to ensure your credibility can be strengthened by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge.
Requirements
Min 3 years of hands-on finance/accounts experience from any industry (e.g. Posting, General Ledger, etc)
Min 5 years of finance/accounts manager experience from any industry
Experience in handling accounts of multi-site/ business units within a multi-cultural/geographical environment
Advanced level in Microsoft packages, specifically Microsoft Excel
Solid knowledge/experience in budgeting, budget forecast modeling, job costing reporting, audited financial statement preparation, interpretation of legislation/contracts
At least bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting related
