Job Description

Collaborating closely with both the finance team in Singapore and the headquarters, it is a full spectrum accounting controllership role across a comprehensive range of financial accounting, tax matters, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Description

• Oversee finance operations, encompassing accounting, tax, treasury, group reporting, and inter-company rebilling and recharge.
• Establish and compile multi-business unit (BU) monthly P&L reports (Management reporting).
• Prepare quarterly consolidation reports and the group CAP reporting package.
• Handle budgeting, Long-Term Planning, and other financial planning and analysis needs.
• Monitor the treasury functions and manage shareholder loan financing.
• Review and approve accounting entries prepared by finance executives using Microsoft Dynamics.
• Generate monthly reports for the legal entity.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Group Reporting (CAP) reports.
• Review tax filings and returns (e.g., withholding tax, VAT, annual tax returns, etc.) in Singapore.
• Ensure the timely and accurate monthly closure of finance and accounting activities.
• Collaborate with accounting, tax, HR, and other functions in affiliate organizations.
• Lead the year-end audit process.
• Ensure timely booking and reconciliation of inter-company and intra-group transactions.
• Guarantee the preparation and submission of Singapore\'s regulatory and statutory reports on schedule.
• Implement and oversee the roll out of group finance governance compliance.
• Participate in and support regional finance projects and initiatives.

Profile

• Degree in accounting/finance with Professional qualification (e.g. CPA).
• 5-7 years of relevant working experience in multi-national companies.
• Experience with energy business is preferred.
• Prior experience in Big 4 professional accounting firm is an advantage.
