Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for full spectrum of accounting and financing functions

\xc2\xb7 Maintain full set of accounts for a group of companies

\xc2\xb7 Ensure timely accurate month and financial year closing

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain accounting journals, audits schedules and reconciliations, financial statements and management reports

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and analyze project costing variance, actual vs budget

\xc2\xb7 Handle statutory audit, which includes preparation of financial statements as well as liaise with external auditors.

\xc2\xb7 Handle tax matters which would include the quarterly GST filing as well as corporate tax

\xc2\xb7 Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures to strength these areas

\xc2\xb7 Address and resolve issues related to accounting and taxation

\xc2\xb7 Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staffs on all accounting related matters

\xc2\xb7 Assist in any other works as may be assigned

Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent

\xc2\xb7 Ideally minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in a construction company
