UAT Lead (12-Month Contract, High Conversion Potential) - Leading Insurer
Work Location: Kuala Lumpur or Singapore
Contract: 12-month renewable contract (high likelihood of permanent conversion for strong performers)
A leading global insurer is seeking an experienced UAT Lead to drive end-to-end testing for a multi-year finance transformation programme. This role is responsible for full UAT strategy, planning, coordination, and execution across multiple business units and regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end UAT cycle, including UAT strategy, planning, execution, governance, and documentation.
Oversee testing across multiple teams, vendors, and locations, ensuring test coverage, completeness, and quality.
Develop and review detailed UAT test cases, test scenarios, success criteria, and traceability matrices.
Ensure compliance with test governance, entry/exit criteria, test environment readiness, and defect management processes.
Coordinate closely with business users, technology teams, and vendors throughout the UAT cycle.
Produce clear test progress reports, manage risks and issues, and drive timely resolution.
Manage the user testing team executing test cases and raising defects.
Support business outcomes around efficiency, automation, standardisation, quality, and ways of working.
Must-Have Requirements
10+ years of testing and project experience in finance, ERP, or large-scale transformation environments.
Proven ability to lead full UAT lifecycle (strategy ? plan ? execute ? report).
Hands-on experience across all major test phases: functional testing, SIT, E2E, and UAT.
Strong knowledge of finance data, finance systems, and process flows.
Expert-level JIRA test management experience (must-have requested by hiring manager).
