Job Description

Finance Specialist will be primarily responsible for partnering with operational leadership and finance colleagues to deliver accurate, timely and highly valued general accounting and financial support.Job Responsibilities:

• Record transactions such as income and outgoings, posting them to various accounts, processing payments, conducting daily banking activities and producing various financial reports.
• Handle Payroll by applying accounting rules and procedures to ensure compliance with documented procedures and accounting standards.

• Responsible for the maintenance of accurate AP/AR in a timely manner.
• Identify and document all unrecognized outward cash or items that are experiencing collection difficulties to ensure these are escalated at the earliest opportunity.
• Maintenance of accurate and up to date records.
• Performs other ad hoc tasks that may come up.

Job Qualifications:

• Open to non-CPA, Accountant graduates but has experience with Accounting Processes
• At least 2 years of experience in finance/accounting department or external auditing firms with similar capacity in finance shared service. Financial reporting background is a plus
• Strong background on general accounting principles including but not limited to intercompany, fixed assets, inventories, leases, receivables/payables and accruals.
• In depth exposure with local statutory, tax and Internal Controls
• Intermediate skills on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Strong personality and has a positive attitude towards work.
• Fluent in oral and written English communication
