Financial Accountant (Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a hands-on role, responsible for all General Ledger matters for assigned legal entities and ensure accurate and timely reporting of the results.

Your main focus :

• Ensure accounting close of Singapore/Hong Kong legal entities are done accurately and timely (per corporate deadlines)
• Prepare trial balances and analyze key accounts to identify unusual transactions
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Prepare corporate reporting (e.g. SEC reporting and analytics) following corporate deadlines
• Provide support and guidance to business partners on closing process, accounting treatment and internal control matters
• Responsible for local audit as well as internal audit for the entities assigned
• Responsible for quarterly GST / VAT return and annual income tax return, as well as WHT
• Identify and drive process improvements across the finance function
• Responsible in addressing any finance issue related to assigned entity.
• Ensure proper internal control are implemented.

• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required

The team consists of Finance professionals and you will work closely together with several departments such as other Finance teams, Tax and Audit agents and key internal Business Partners. All your colleagues are collaborative, and you will receive tremendous support for you to excel in this role.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting,
• Possess strong knowledge of local and US GAAP
• Able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
• SAP knowledge preferable, with good experience in accounting software
• Hyperion knowledge preferable
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Effective communication

• Hands-on, detailed and meticulous
