On behalf of one of its clients in the wine industry, The French Chamber of Commerce is looking for aFinancial Analyst / Business controllerThe candidate shall work under the supervision and report to the Head of Operations of the business unit responsible for vineyard projects and the distribution joint-ventures activity.Main areas of responsibility include:1. Main tasks related to the management of existing selective distribution companies on a daily basis:- Support the management of the different joint-venture companies including the preparation of the different board of directors\xe2\x80\x99 meetings and AGMs.- Interact with the Group commercial teams to prepare and propose the distribution strategies and once approved to ensure their good execution.- Coordinate with Operations and IT team to ensure smooth operation of each selective distribution companies (wine purchases, wine collections at the estates, management of the different wines inventories (commercial vs reserve inventories).- Interact with Finance to ensure a timely and efficient account preparation process and activity reports.2. Secondary tasks related to the management of existing vineyard projects:- Helping the rest of the team to manage portfolio projects from an operational, financial, legal, tax, and accounting perspective).- Liaise with and coordinate and manage relationships with the external suppliers / service-providers (accounting firms, auditors, tax agent, corporate secretary, bank);o With legal, financial, tax, and corporate advisors, both in Asia and France;o With participating members: attend meetings and some events;o With representatives and staff of our producer partners based in France in relation to wine production and operational aspects.- Draft documents and reports in connection with selected projects (e.g., bi-annual reports, regular correspondence with partners).3. Other tasks: Perform other duties as required.RequirementsThe successful candidate will:- Be educated to a graduate or post-graduate level;- Possess a minimum of three to four years of professional experience in the finance department (ideally FP&A) of a multinational company, a financial services company, or a consultancy or auditing firm (Big 4);- Soft skills: be self-starting, pro-active, independent, have a strong sense of analysis and team spirit, have a strong attention to detail, and be a hard and diligent worker with high ethical standards;- Hard skills: have experience and interest in corporate finance and/or FP&A analysis, be intellectually agile to evolve in a position requiring financial, accounting, tax, and legal knowledge;- Be fluent in English, both verbal and written; fluency (native) in French is a prerequisite to interact with stakeholders in France;- Able to work under deadlines and pressure;- Demonstrate an ability to interact with so-called \xe2\x80\x9cultra-high net worth\xe2\x80\x9d individuals across cultures and countries;- Master the use of Microsoft Office tools, in particular in Microsoft Excel;- Be available to start ASAP.
