Objectives

Perform monthly closing, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis activities to support the Asia Pacific Capital Markets business

Drive process improvement and automation to achieve Best In Class Finance Function

Provide business finance services to the Global Segment Finance, Regional Business and Finance networks

Responsibilities

Support monthly reporting/forecasting, quarterly reviews, and annual budgeting for the Asia Pacific Capital Markets Sub-segment & APAC Hotels business.

Perform management reporting of financials on revenues, direct costs, allocation and headcounts

Perform month end closing of the financials including journaling and rebasing forecasts

Support an accurate fee revenue forecasting process based on deal driven pipeline

Support review of costs and headcounts and investigate variances to forecasts/budget

Perform weekly/monthly Asia Pacific Capital Markets Sub-segment pipeline report

Support quarterly reviews and annual budgeting with global and regional management

Manage reporting tools based on financial systems and review work performed by JBS

Consolidate and organize reviews with countries' finance leads on submitted financials, forecasts, quarterly reviews, and budgets

Perform investment analysis and track/measure the investment results

Review data accuracy and integrity of the systems

Support decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, meaningful insights and visibility on business performance

Ad hoc analysis as assigned from time to time

Requirements

Good degree and/or professional certification in Accounting or Finance

2-4 years of experience in FP&A, Controllership, Audit or Business Analyst roles

Prior working experience in the Big 4 and/or US MNC preferred but not essential

Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills

Strong interest in financial modelling and business intelligence tools

Detail-oriented and meticulous, with strong communication skills

Strong analytical skills, track record of identifying issues and delivering solutions
