Our client, a specialist in providing strategic advisory services in the areas or digital, data and artificial intelligence (AI) is currently seeking an experienced candidate to join their expanding team as a Financial Controller (1-year contract).

Job Responsibilities:

• To lead the Finance team and ensuring effective and efficient operations in the areas of Finance operations (revenue recognition, project accounting, accounts receivable, payable, invoicing), management and regulatory reporting, cash flows, and treasury
• Lead the Finance function in ERP implementation starting design to implementation
• Accountable for the Company's Consolidated financial closing cycle
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly actual financial reporting promptly
• Responsible for fulfilling statutory requirements such as taxation reports and statutory accounts reporting and filing
• Ensuring that all internal controls policies and procedures are current and ensuring compliance with regulatory/corporate guidelines
• Support integration of new business units involving financial reporting, business processes, ERP system setup and support
• Lead the budgeting for all entities and departments, projects proposals, evaluate the value of each project, build the cost and operational models as part of the project process, provide financial insights on projects resource allocation
• Managing risk & supervising cash management

Job Requirements:

• CA, CPA or equivalent
• Bachelor's or master's degree in accountancy or a relevant field
• Min. 10 years of professional experience, preferably with some years of experience in auditing financial controlling, taxation, treasury, financial reporting, and strategic planning/management
• Experience in ERP implementation
• Experience in providing consultancy to the organization on Financial System implementation
• Possess working knowledge in NetSuite, Dynamics, Hyperion, Essbase etc.
• Experience working in start-up/technology organization will be an added advantage
• Experience working in matrixed environments, with remote corporate Finance policy guidance and direction
