Accounting Analyst (1 year contract, renewable) Working Location: Jurong Pier Working Days: Monday - Friday Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm Basic salary: SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,100 monthly, 1 month com Accounting Analyst (1 year contract, renewable) Working Location: Jurong Pier Working Days: Monday - Friday Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm Basic salary: SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,100 monthly, 1 month completion bonus Basic Functions This position will be assisting Transactional activities, Month End Closing, Monthly Forecast, Fin Plan, Audit and Tax, Analysis and Reporting, supporting the finance department on day-to-day accounting and finance activities and other Ad-Hoc Projects as required. Specific Responsibilities Works with China and India Shared Services Team (SSC & GSS) in the maintenance of accounts payable and interco sub-ledger in SAP for all business units under company. Manage accounts payable daily activities such as: manage incoming mail obtain approval for non PO invoice coding of vendor code, GL code, cost center, profit center and tax code scan invoices for SSC and GSS input to SAP support urgent e-payment for SSC and GSS to process and prepare manual cheque Suppliers' reconciliation filing Manage accounts payable monthly/yearly activities such as: GRIR reconciliation with Purchasing Accounts payable aging (Trade AP, Advance payment from vendor, Employee aging) reconciliation Balance Sheet Reconciliation Handles manual medical claims for all business units in Singapore. Manage and audit T&E daily activities such as: Ensure approval signed off Validate claim against company policy and guideline Validate coding of employee KO Coding of GL code and cost center Scan claim form for SSC input to SAP Post bank related transactions. Liaise with SSC and GSS and associates on concur claim status Prepare commission protocol documentation for approval. Validate MK Denial parties per Customer Services submission. Support annual financial audit and tax return activities. Assists in preparation of accounting data for forecast and budgetary control purposes. Assists in financial analysis and reporting activities. Assists in various accounting projects and cross functional activities. Assists in any accounting queries or investigation. Undertake any ad-hoc projects as assigned by Controller or when driven by business needs. Qualifications / Requirements Diploma in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience or Preferably some experience in SAP system.
