The company\'s platform is designed to enhance project management and efficiency by enabling stakeholders to streamline workflows, monitor progress in real-time, and ensure quality control.

Description

The candidate will lead the finance team and to handle controllership duties. Reporting directly to the CEO< the candidate will play a key role in driving financial reporting, analyzing financial information and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small team responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and present reports to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and expenses.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Conduct periodic account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency of financial data.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Stay informed about industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices to enhance financial operations.

Profile

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Finance Team leader or in a similar capacity, preferably within a start-up or software company setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with Xero is a bonus.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting intricate financial data and deriving meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, to facilitate effective collaboration across departments.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
